The schooner Sybil, which has been lying in harbonr for some two or three months, yesterday changed ownership, Messrs. L. D. Natbsn and Co. having sold her to Mr. James Macfarlane. It is the intention of Mr. Macfarlane to place the bybil in tbe Island trade, in tbe place of the, schooner Pirate, recently lost. Captain 3-. H. Trayte takes command. In addition to these, there was a numerous fleet of coasting craft all hard at work either taking in or putting out cargo. At the Railway Wharf tbe barques Candidate, loading for London, and Jules Marie, discharging coal from Newcastle, were getting on apace with their work. Tbe barque Jules Marie is to proceed to Fort Albert, there to load timber for an Australian port. She is now receiving cargo for the Nonconformist settlement. Tbe brig Albert tbe Good is to sail to-day for the Great Barrier Island. She will there load timber for Melbourne. _ The schooner Louie has been brought alongside tbe Railway Wharf. She is co load for New Caledonia. The schooner Charles L. Pearson was berthed at the Queen-street Wharf yesterday. She will commence to discharge to-day. The schooner Cygnet arrived from Whangaroa, with a cargo of timber, yesterday morning. The _p.s. .Anne Milbank proceeded down to Tiritiri yesterday morning for another cargo of material lost out of the steamship Triumph. The flags of the various vessels in harbour were flying at half-mast yesterday out of respect to the memory of the late Mrs. Gillies, wife of His Honor Mr. Justice Gillies. The s.s. M&cgregor arrived at a quarter-past ' nine p.m. last night from Whangarei, with . passengers and the following cargo : 80 cases fruit, 30 sacks gum, 26 sacks potatoes, 10 boxes eggs, 3 crates fowls, 10 kegs butter, 2 tons sundries. The schooner Golden Isle, from Tonga, came . Into port last night. Captain Carmichael reports having left Tonga on the 21st February . jast, with light easterly, veering to southerly, .winds.until the 29th, thence variable weather to arrival. ARRIVAL OF THB ZEALANDIA. The R.M. 3.8, Zealandia, en route for San Francisco from Sydney, with the outward mails, came into harbour at 12 o'clock last night. The Zealandia's presence in the HauraVi Gulf was made known to us last mght by a special message from Tiritiri as follows : " Tiritiri, 9.45 p.m. Mail steamer off the lighthouse." She is well patronised by and her list will receive an encouraging addition from' this port. Captain Webber reports hav- ' ing discharged Sydney pilot at 4.15 p.m. on Thursday, the 28th February; sighted Cape Maria Van Diemen's light at 3.50 a.m. on Monday, the 3rd March ; received Auckland pilot at 10.25 p.m., and arrived at midnight. During tbe passage experienced light easterly and E.E. winds, with fine weather. Tho Zealandia came at once alongside the steamship Ruapehu, the barque Loch Bredan having been hauled off into the stream to make room for the steamer. The Zealandia will sail for San Franoiico at noon to-day.
