SHOCKING ACCIDENT TO A BOY.
[BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Wang an ci, Monday. A SHOCKING accident occurred yesterday by which a boy named Hall may lose his life. He was walking beside a boy on horseback with another lad on the other side, when the latter touched the horse's leg with a stick. The animal kicked out and caught Hall jußt above the eye inflicting a terrible ga3h from which the brain protruded in a sickening manner. He was found by a man nearly suffocating from blood clotting in his mouth, and was taken to an adjacent hotel where an operation was performed by Drs. Connolly and Earl, and nine pieces of bone taken from the wound which was covered up. Tbis morning the boy was sufficiently rational to detail the circumstances, the other boys having run away on evening was sufficiently recovered to be removed to the hospital where he iB making satisfactory progress. Slight hopes are entertained for his recovery.
