PRESS V. OPERA COMPANY. Notwithstanding the bad weather of yesterday, the match between the above teams came off, and resulted in a win for the representatives of the profession by 13 runs. The Press team was not: as strong aa it had been expected to be ; they went in first, and were dismissed' for 54 runs. The wicketkeeping of W. Forde was an interesting feature of the innings. H. Mnsgrove (21) and W. Beaumont (15) made a useful stand for the victors ; the former marie a very pretty drive for 6. Speight secured sevenof the wickets for 29 runs.
