Morrin and Co. Limited.) The Hon. E. Hitchelson, M.H.B. Captain H. F. Anderson, John Chameerh Esq., (T. and S. Morrin and Co., Limited.) JO3EPH Bennett, Esq. bankers: ' Bank of New South Wales. solicitous: ) Messrs. Jackson.and Russell. beorbtary: S. Y. Collins, Esq. BBOKLER-S: The Members or the Brokers' Association. The E.-imo Colliery Iβ a most extensive one, consisting, (is it does, of 1200 acres of freehold, and about 1400 acres leasehold lands.

The railway which tho Government has completed connecting the Kamo Colliery with the Hiurbour, at a coat of about £52,000, places the Colliery in the position of being more easily and profitably worked than any other Colliery in New Zealand. The Harbour with which tbc Mine is now attached is, for all practical purposes equal to any in tho Colonies, and being en route for the Union and Pacific Companies' steamers, could not be more advantageously situated. Since the formation of tho Company, a very large sum hua been expended in developing the Mine, and with tho most satisfactory results. In the Main Engine Shaft (which is a considerable distance from the present workings, and upon which powerful pumping and winding machinery has been erectod), at a depth of 220 feet from the surface, the upper searn of coal, nino foot in thickness, has been gone through. Tnis Coal is very superior in quality, At a depth of forty-five feet below this scam, the lower seam has been proved to exist. Tms Coal WELL BE IM2IEDIATEI/T ATAH.ABLB, At the opposite side of the Hill from which the main heading was started, and what is known as the Bead Kngino Dip, a seam of nine feet of excellent coal has been struck. This coal will be in the market at once, as it is connected with the railway through the main level. In vibw of tho facts that now the Colliery is well opened up, the demand for the coal having largely increased, an.d tho recently acquired seams of coal proving to be of superior quality, the Directors ore justified in stalling that they believe the Company, from this time, >vill pay continonsly large dividends. SHARES are now offered to tho public at Fifteen Shilllnga per Share, and paid up to that amount, npon tho following terras:—FlVE SHILLINGS CASH, BALANCE BY TWO EQUAL PAYMENTS OF FIVE SHILLINGS EACH AT THREE AND SIX MONTHS. The Directors being thoroughly satisfied with the bona Jides of the undertaking determined to adopt the risk of proving the Mine a success before offering to the public any shares for sale. Those now offered to the public were purchasod by the Directors for the Company. Tho entire proceeds, therefore, of the sharc3 now offered to the public will bo placed to the credit of the Company, A list of the properties, inventory of plant, certificates and reports of eminent engineers, &c, may be inspected at the Company's Office, No. 14a, Queen street.
