A FRENCH MURDER.

A collector of the CriSdit Lyonnais at Marseilles was recently stabbed and suffocated between two mattrasses by some persons occupying a flat, on which he had oalled to meet an acceptance. They immediately deoamped with the 60,000 francs in the victim's portfolio, having merely hired the flat and concocted the acceptance for the purpose of inveigling a collector. Three men have just been arrested for this crime, two in Paris and the third at Marseilles. The latter has been identified by the owner Of the house, and in his possession was found a sum of 30,000 francs, for which he could not satisfactorily account. One of the other men is an old offender ; and his companion is an Italian, who was an emigration agent at Marseilles, and disappeared immediately after the murder.
