The circular of the Royal Comic Opera Company ' has been issued announcing the completion of the necessary arrangements for a season of 24 nights at Abbott's.Opera House, commencing on the 16th. This company, is, a combination of Mr. Williamson's opera company whioh opened at Abbott's Opera House : with "Patience," and that• of Mr. Musgrave's Opera Comiqciej. from London. It includes some of the , best known names connected with the lyric drama: in -the . Australian colonies, .viz., Misses Nellie Stewart, Fanny Liddiard, Maggie Stewart, Ida Oaborne, and-Lillie Forde;, Mr.- Wo_odfield, a first-class tenor (who will make his first appearance in Auckland), Mf. : Howard Vernon (Bunthorne), Mr. Wallace (lato of. goldene'a Opera Company), Mr. Edwin Kelly, and Messrs. J. F. Forde and T. Grundy. The above are the leading artists. .The company includes 26 female and 20 male voices, all of tbem carefully eeleoted for proficiency and vocal quality. The company left Sydaey on Thure? day by the e.s, Riogarooma. At the request of the musical public who patronize opera, and for the convenience of families, the directors have determined to issue ." family tickets "at (a. ; reduced rate..
