Co.. agents. .DEPARTUfiIT Lalla, Rookh,' Ks., Bailey, for Waitara.— Master, agent. IMPORTS. Per s.s. Taiaroa, from the South: 50 sacks malt, 27 packages butter, and 5 tons sundries. Per s.s. Lalla Rookh, from Waitara : 1 horse, 140 sheep, 21 head cattle, and 25 kegs butter. The s.s. Taiaroa left Dunedin wharf at 4.45 a.m., anil called at Oamaru, and breasted Akaroa light at 5 a.m. on the 3rd, and arrived at Lyttelton at 9 a.m.; left at 1 p.m., passed Campbell light at 2.45 p.m. on the 4th, and having experienced fine weather and light airs, arrived at Wellington at 7 a.m. Bamn day; left at 4.30 p.m., and proceeded to Nelson via Picton, arriving at the former port at 9 a.m. on the sih (having steamed through French Pass at 5.15 a.m.); left Nelson at 4.10 p.m. on the 6th for Wellington direct, breasted , Brothers' light at 12.50 a.m. on the 7th, having experienced northerly breeze and fine weather, reached Wellington at 5 a.m.; took 3an Francisco mails on board, and proceeded for New New Plytiiouth direct at 4.20 p.m., had fresh N.W. breeze and clear weather; pas-ed Brothers'light at 7.50 p.m., thence northerly airs and fine weather till arrival at New Plymouth at 9.30 a.m. on the Bth; left again at C a.m., a:ad experienced fresh N.E. breeze and rainy weuther till entering Manukau Heads at 6.30 p.m. on the 9th, and reached Onehnnga wharf at 6.30 shortly after noon. The Taiaroa will leavo again to-day for Southern ports. The s.n._ Rowena is expected to arrive from Wanganui this morning, and will leave,again, according to advertisement, at 1 o'clock this afternoon, for Hokiangii. The s.s. Lalla Rookh arrived from Waitara yesterday morning, and returned thither at 4 o'clock in the afternoon, with 3S sackß bonedust, 7 cases kerosene, 33 cases fruit, 1 case drapory. _■
