DANGEROUS FOOTPATHS.
TO THE EDITOR. Sik, —When are the city authorities going to remedy the state of the footpaths in. ,'. Shortland-street ? Only oa Monday, a yards above Greenshields' shop, i slipped, and narrowly escaped severe injuries. There is another bad place near Bank-street, which is absolutely dangerous to foot passengers. I presume the Council is waiting until some serious accident happens before we shall have any improvement.—l am, &c., Pedestrian. Auckland, October 9, 1883.
