NEW BUSINESS. The new business of the last five years has exceeded two millions per annum—a larger amount annually than has ever been transacted by any other Life Office in the British Dominions. The coat of management including commission, is unusually low, being only 9'5 per cent, of the total receipts of the year. This rata of expenditure is, on the average, 18 per cent, leas than that of the other Australian Mutual Life Offices, and less than any other life assurance institution either in Europo or America, doing a corresponding amount of new business. UNPARALELLED ACCUMULATION OF FUNDS. Ten years ago the Society, while 69th on tho list of British offices in point Of ago, was 35th in respect of funds. It now, January. 1883, stands, fourth, only three offices in Great Britain, established respectively in 1815,1823, and 1825, being above it. The accumulated funds now exceed FOUR MILLION THREE HUNDRED THOUSAND POUNDS. Assure your Life in the AUSTRALIAN MUTUAL PROVIDENT SOCIETY and secure an ANNUAL BONUS OR DIVIDEND, A PBrviLEOE which no other Life Office in the Colony can grant its members. Be careful that you select thia Society, and DO kot DE MISLED by the similarity of name of some other Assurance Office. The Society can be considered quite as much a Now Zealand as an Australian institution, seeing that all moneys received in tho colony aro invested hero in advances on mortgage of first-class freohold securities, loans to members on tue security of their policies, Government debentures, and freehold branch office premises; and tho Society is thus assisting in developing the resources of tho colony. The Socity has ' ASSETS IN NEW ZEALAND SECURITIES exceeding FIVE HUNDRED AND EIGHTY THOUSAND POUNDS ! No other Life Office in the Colony can give you SUCh LARGE BONUSES as the AUSTRALIAN MUTUAL PROVIDENT SOCIETY and the effect of au Annual Bonus, which can be taken in cash, will be to reduce the cost of assurance to tho LOWEST POSSIBLE MINIMUM. If you aro already sufficiently assured yourself, induce your friends to follow your example. Prospectuses, Forms of Proposal, and all other information may bo obtained on application to tho Besident Secretary, Wellington; or from any of the Society's Agents. __ EDWARD W. LOWE.
