[BY TELEGRAPH.—PRi:SS ASSOCIATION.] Wellington, Thursday. The Gazette contains a proclamation constituting the County of MacKenzie out of part of Geraldine County. E. T. Mason is gazetted clerk in the Registrar-General's office, and the following appointed as Deputy Sheriffs :—George William Basley, Auckland ; George W. Cullen, Hawke's Bay ; William Lupton Dean, Patea ; William Patteson James, Wellington ; Charles Hugh Webb, Bowen, Nelson ; Ernest Charles Selling, Westlaml North ; Alfred Frederick Fitzloy, Etheridge Cantell, Westland; Thomaa Hawley, Timaru ; Arthur David Harvey, Otago ; John Turnbull, Southland. J. H. Greig is appointed assistant draughtsman in the Survey Department, and Edwin Mitchelson is appointed' a member of the Anckland Waste Land Board.
