CORRESPONDENCE.
THE SALVATION ARMY. TO THE EDITOR. Sir,—During the three special meetings just held ia this city it has been the remark of unfavourable comment that no minister of any Protectant Church was present, to offer a word of God-speed to their brethren in the. work of the Lord. While there ia and will be difference of opinion as to the manner in which the nrmy conduct their work, there is none aa to the bona Ms results of the work done. Warm-hearted Christians belonging to all the Churches have to a greater or less degree assisted the army in their work, while numbere have been blessed in their own experience. Hence the attitude of the iT.iniaters to the movement has a tendency to decrease their good influence with, their congregations, and consequently is to be regretted.—l am, he, Methodist.
