GENERAL CONDITIONS. rho Railway Department aoea not pledge itself to the dispatch or arrival of tlio Trains at tho exact times notified in the above Tallies, and, in the event o£ any circumstances arising, oitlier during or prior to the journey being made, which may render it impossible* or inexpedient for a Train to proceed, will return the Fares paid, but dees not undertake to forward the Passengers. Luggage. —Each Passengor Is allowed to take H2lba. of PERSONAL Luggago freo (not including merchandise of auy kind), ami for eveiy solbs., or fraction of 561b5., above this -weight, for every 50 miles or fraction of 60 miles, the charge will be One Shilling. No Luggage will be allowed to bo taken into the carriages, unless of such a sizo that it can bo placed under the seat without inconvenience to other Pasnongers. Passengers aro strongly recommended to havo their Names and the Station to which they are proceeding distinctly marked on their Luggage, and to satisfy themselves that it is placed on tho iTain, as tho Railway Department will not bo responsible unless it is booked and paid for. Passengera can be Booked at Stativru only on condition that there is room in the Train. Children under three years of age travel free above three and under twelve years of age, half-far , !. Horses, Oaukiages, Ac—The Railway Department does not undertake to forward Horses and Carriages by any particular Train ; but, when sent, they muat be at the forwarding Station half-an-hour before the departure of the Train. The Owners of Horses must provide means for securing them in tho Horse-box, and the Railway Department will not bo accountable for any injuries sustained through their breaking loose or otherwise, nor will It undertake to carry unbroken or vicious Horses. At Country Stations requisitions lor Horse-boxes or Carriage-trucks must be mado tho day before they are wanted. Dogs must be provided with chains, or other sufficient means of securing them. They will not be allowed in carriages, and the sender must obtain a Ticket, to bo given up at tho end of the journey, and before tho Doa is delivered. Return or Periodical Tickets will not bo available for Spocial and Eicursloa Trains, eicopt when tho ordinary Time Table is suspended. * Flag Stations, —Trains do not stop at these nnles3 required. Notice ehould bo given to the Guard at tho previous stopping Station.
