Tho last accounts heard respecting these baths were to the effect that the buildings were being removed far re-erection in a more suitable place. As to the fees charged at the Government establishment, wo have no information. 2. There are two or more good hotels in the neighborhood, which havo warm, miuer.il water lutln of reputed fame in connection with the buildings. We believe tho charges are regarded reasonable by the travelling public. Apply to the owners of the different hotels at Ohinemutu for a scalo of charges, &c. Tho surface area and the measured area of the Wo;k are likely to bo very nearly equal to each other, unless the land lias more than an ordinary share of unevenness, or the block a very largo ona, so that comparatively large hills might be included within boundaries on very level land. If the bush has been felled in the. whole block as surveyed, tho nurvoy. measurement will probably havo to bo adhered to, unless mntnal arrangements can be made between tho proprietor of tbo land and the bushman. But if only on a portion of tho farm or block tho Dush has beon felled, then it sooma fair that tho surface measurement of thit portion should ba the basis for ayment for work done.
