Lalla Rookh, from Waitara : 20 head cattle, 124 sheep. The Union Co.'a steamer Rotorua left for Southern ports at 3 p.m. yesterday, with 5000 feet timber, 30 doors, and 20 tons sundries. The B,s. Lalla Rookh arrived yesterday afternoon, from Waitara. The Northern Co.'a steamer Rowena left at 2 p.m. yesterday, for Hokianga, with several passengers, 220 bags flour, 15 sacks oats, and 15 tons sundry merchandise. The Bteamers Douglas and Hannah Mokau are expected to return from the Waitara this afternoon or to-morrow morning. BY TELEQRAPJS. WELLINGTON. September 25.—Arrived : Annie Melhurst, barque, from Newcastle; s.s. Kennedy, from Nelson and West Coast. Sailed : S.s. Waliatipu, for the South ; s.s. Kangaroo, for Westport; s.s. Kennedy, for Nelson and West Coast. LYTTELTON. September 25.—Sailed: S.s. Sawea, for Wellington. PORT CHALMERS. September 25. —Arrived: S.s. Ringarooma, from the Bluff. TH K FENSTANTON AND BRITISH QUEEN. DoNEDIN, Tuesday. —The steamor Fens tan ton will complete her loading to-morrow. She takes 5971 frozen sheep home. The British Qtiaon, which arrives early in October, is expected to take 9000. NOTICE TO MARINERS. Wellington, Tuesday.—The following notice to shipmasters trading to the port of Newcastle has been received by the Seoretary of the Marine Department:—" On and after the Ist October next, the two red lights shown on board the Lady Alicia.will bo discontinued, and the same two lights will bo hoisted from sunset to sunrise on board a permanent lightship moored in nine feet of water near tho position of the Black Buoy, which will also be removed. During foggy went her a bell will be sounded at short intervals on board the lightship."
