A meeting was held in the Town HaU r Kawafeawa, on Mondaj, the 10th instant Present:—Messrs, Moody, Swift, Trenchard, and Slater. In tne absence of the Chairman, the Hon. Henry Williams, it waa proposed by Mr. Swift, and duly seconded, that Mr. Moody take the chair. The usnal correspondence was gone through. Accounts) to the amount of £235 were passed for pay. ment. Thf; followihg tenders were received for work on Paknru and Derrick-road: Wallis and Doyle, £32S 03 Id ; Brewer and Middleton, £307. The Engineer's estimate was £300, The tender of Messrs. Brewer and Middleton was accepted. There were no tenders received for works in Vogel-street, Kawakawa. Mr. Slater moved, " That the sum of £20 be set apart for clearing a landslip at Okaihau."
