The Kingites have broken out in a somewhat alarming fashion a Kawhia. The <■ buoying of the entrance and of the ■ channel was only completed by Captain Fairchild in the Hinemoa a few days ago, I arid now we are told that the natives i have destroyed these buoys. They have also looted the store at the township of • Kawhia,. which had been hailed throughout the colony as the commencement of a : great town. Tawhiao himself is, we ■■■ believe, at Kawhia now, so that it is to be presumed that these outrages have been ii committed at his instigation. Whoever are the perpetrators must be taught better manners, and Mr. Bryce could not -' I do better than come North and spend;! f some part of the recess at Kawhia.
