The piece was well put on the stage, and well performed. This play belongs to those sensation society dramas which hold the stage by virtue of its strongly marked characters and affluence of romantic incident. The audience was numerous and appreciative. Mr. McGowan as Levi, Mr. Welsh ae Mr. Eden, and Mr. D. C. Robertson as Jacky (in the third act) were much applauded. The performance was satisfactory, and will bo repeated this evening and to-morrow.
