Dart.—The lode at No. 3 level was broken into to-day two feet. The first foot showed solid, well mineralised quartz;.the next quartz veins in the sandstone. The quartz lies beyond, and the manager is now satisfied it is No. 2 lode. Colours of gold were seen. It should junction with the body of quartz met a few days ago 7 or 8 feet eastward.

Imperial.—Some of the specimens obtained to-day were very rich. scwt. specimens have now come from tho eighth stope beyond the break, and this is scarcely half way up the block, so that it is evident there is a great deal of rich quartz to be taken therefrom. There is a good show overhead, and gold is to be seen in the face, whiht ahead gold is showing in the seventh, stope. Laat week's general dirt manifested an improvement upon its predecessor. There are now 13cwt. specimens on hand. \ Deep Level Cross.—Gold was seen freely is the winze on the hangingwall leader in breaking down on Saturday. Gold was also seen in the winze on the cross lode.

Darwis.—The mine manager reports the main shaft sunk to a depth of 112 feet from the brace, and the course of the lode found at 103 feet to be about 18 inches wide, that it carries a small vein on the footwall course of the lode, with an underlie of six inches to the foot westward, the course of the lode itself running nearly north aud south, and that it is in a first-class sandstone country, and when the shaft is down a farther sufficient depth that he should get gold when it is opened out upon.
