GENERAL CONDITIONS. The Railway Department does not pledge itself to the dispatch or arrival of the Trains at tho exact times notified in the above Tables, and, in the event of any circumstances arising, either during or prior to the joumey being made, which may render it impossible or inexpedient for a Train to proceed, will return tho Fares paid, but dees not undertake to forward tho Passengers. Lcooaoe. — Each Passenger is allowed to take 1121bs. of PERSONAL Luggago free (not including merchandise of any kind), and for every 661b5., or fraction of sClbs., above this weight, for every 50 miles or fraction of 50 miles, tho charge will be Ono Shilling. No Luggage will bo allowed to bo taken into the carriages, unless of such a size that it can bti placed under the seat without inconvenience to other Passengers. Passengers aro strongly recommended to have their Names and the Station to which they are proceeding distinctly marked on their Luggage, and to satisfy themselves that it is placed on tho Train, as the Railway Department will not be responsible unless it is booked and paid for. Passengers can be Booked at Stations only on condition that there is room in the Train. Children under threo years of ago travel froo above three and under twelve years of age, half-fare. Houses, Cakriaoks, be— The Railway Department does not nndcrtako to forward Horses and Carriages by any particular Train; but, when sent, they must be at the forwarding Station half-an-hour before the departure of the Train. The Owners of Horses must provide means for securing them in tho Horse-box, and the Railway Department will not bo accountable for any injuries sustained through their breakinglooso or otherwise, uor will it undertake to carry unbroken or vicious Horses. At Country Stations requisitions for Horse.boxcs or Carriage-trucks must be made the day before they are wanted. Dogs must be provided with chains, or o'.her Bumcicnt means of securing them. They will nc tbe allowed in carriages, and the sender must obtain a Ticket, to bo given up at the end of tho journoy, and before the Dog is delivered. Return or Periodical Tickets will not bo available for Special and Excursion Trains, except whea tho ordinary lime Table is suspended. * Flag Stations.—Trains do not stop at these unles3 requirod. Notice should be given to the Guard at the previous stopping Station. Special Kotiuc—To ensure dwpitch, Parcels, Extra Luggage, and Dogs must bo at the Station at least Thirty Minnies before tho Advertised Tixao of Departure of Train.
