The Raven, 4, double-screw composite gun vessel, Lieutenant - Commander "Whitehouse, commissioned for the Australian station, and the Satellite, 8, composite sloop, Captain C. B. Theobald, commissioned for the Paciiic station, •were taking in stores in the ateam basin at Sheerness on May 4, and making other preparations for their departure.
