GENERAL CONDITIONS. Tho Railway Department does not pledgo Itself to the dispatch or arrival of the Trains at tho exact times notified in the abovo Tables, and, In tho event of any circumstances arising, eithor during or prior to tho journey being made, which may rondor it impossible or inexpedient for a Train to procood, will return the Fares paid, but does not undertako to forward the Passengers. ; Luqqaqk.—Each Passongor is allowed to tako 1121bs. of PERSONAL Luggage free (not including merchandise of any kind), and for eveiy 561b5., or fraction of 66ibs., abovo this weight, for every 50 miles or fraction of 60 miles, the cliargo will bo One Shilling. No Luggage will be allowed to bo taken into tho carriages, unless of such a size that it can bo placcd under tho seat without inconvenience to other. Passengers. Passengers aro Btrongly recommended to havo their Names and the Station to which they are proceeding distinctly marked on their and to Batisfy themselves that It is placod on tho Train, as the Railway Department will not bo responsible unleßS it is booked and paid for. Passengers can be Booked at Stations only on condition that there is room in tho Train. Children under threo years of ago travel freo abovo threo and undor twelve years of ago, half-fare. HORSES, Caiuuaoes, <fec.—The Railway Department does not undortako to forward Horses and Carriages by any particular Train ; but, whon sent, tlioy must be at tho forwarding Station half-an-hour before the departuro of tho Train. Tho Ownors of Horses must provide means for securine: thorn in the Horse-box, And the Railway Department will not be accountablo tor any injuries sustained through, their breaking loose or otherwise, nor will it undertako to carry unbroken or vicious Horses. At Country Stationn requisitions for Horse-boxes or Carriago-trucks must bo made tho day boforo they aro.wanted. Dogs must bo provided with chains, or other sufliclent means of securing thorn. They will not bo , allowed in carriages, and tho sender must obtain a Ticket, to bo given up at tho end of the journoy, and before tho Dog is delivered. , Roturn Tickets, for distances not exceeding 25 miles are availablo on day of issuo only; for each additional 25 miles, or fraction thereof, ono day extra i 3 allowed. | Return or Periodical Tickets will noli bo availablo for Special and Excursion Trains, cxcopt when the ordinary Timo Tablo is suspondod. Notice should bo given to the Guard 1 at tho previous stopping Station. 1 Special Notice.—To ensuro despatch, Parcels, Extra Luggage, and Dogs must bo at tho Station at least Thirty Minutes boforo tho Advertised Time of Departure of Train.
