KORIMAEAMA INDUSTRIAL SCHOOL.
Bt far the most successful entertainment that has yet been held at : the Kohimarma Industrial School (Mr. G. Hogan, master) came off one day last "week. 'At half-past five p.m., the whole of the boys, ninety-four in number, sat down to an excellent tea, to whiob they did justice. The spread was under the trees in the playground, and after the tables were cleared all adjourned to the school-housc, where the moro intellectual part of the entertainmont commenced, —Mr. Herman, of St. John's College, presiding. The following programme was gone through iu a vory creditable manner : —Solo, " Many Happy returns of the Day," Miss Hogan ; recitation, "The Ship on Fire," J. Paul; duet, " The Last Links are Broken," Misses Hogan and L. Charnock; part song, "Tic, tic,' 1 fifty boys; song, "Janet's Choice," Miss Hogan; recitation, "The Burial of Sir John Moore," 15. Potoky ; song, "Janet's Bridal," Miss L. Charnock; dialogue, ' 1 Bear and Forbear," E. Potoky, J. Paul, and J, Irwin; "duet, "A.8.C.," Misses Hogan and L. Cliarnook ; solo, " Darby and Joan," Miss E. Charnock ; reeitatiou, "The Hesperus," E. Doviu ; solo,-" The Last Rose of Summer," Miss L. Charnock; part song, "Clap, Clap," fifty boys; recitation, "The Two Crossing Swuepers," J. McKay ; duet, "The Cousins," Misses Hogan and L. Charnock ; recitation, "The Graves of the Household,"- W. Spiers; solo, " Apart," Miss Hogan; solo and chorus, " Molly Darling," Misses L. Charnock, Hogan, aud Mulgan. The dialogue was exceptionally good, and the ohildrcn entered heartily into the spirit of the entertainment. Miss Mulgan presided at the harmoaiam, and deserves great- praise ior the manner in which she had trained the children for their part in the entertainment.
