Greenwood, under instructions from'the Auckland Harbour Board, sold by auction to-day, at the looms of the Board, Fortstreet, the lease of all the Haibour Board enilowiiidnta situated on tho reclauiaiiou ground between Queou-street and the Kailw<y Station. Theie was a very larsu attendance of purchasers, and all the lots offerod were sold at high rateM. Wednesday : Sale of l-'iji and other fruit, at mart. The attendance was large and prices satisfactory, as t ie fru.t was not in first class condition. The sale of general merchandise at Messrs. l'otterandCo.'s was continued anil completed, and upon the whole- prices were very satisfactory. Thursday : Sale of city properties. .Not a large number present. At tlrst bidding was languid ; as the gale projeeded interest was aroused, and several properties were sold at good prices. Three allotments in Lower Hepburn-street, each 33 x 124 feet, sold at £4 per foot; one at 10s. An allotment in Beresford-street, near foot, "in allotment in a sm ill blind street otf Ilepburn-.'treet, sold at £2 10s per fout. The remaining properties are now in the market for private sale.
