|BT TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Wellington, Thursday. The commission issued to Sir William Fox has been further extended until the '23rd day of Decemhcr, 18S3. The following gentlemen have been appointed analysts under the Tea Examination Act James Alexander I'ond, Auckland ; William Skey, Wellington ; Alexander William Bickerton, Canterbury, Christchurch ; and James Gow Black, M.A., Dunedin. Under date of November "S, Sir G. M. O'Rerke notifies that the scat for the Peninsula is vacant by the death of Mr. James Seaton, who died from the effects of injuries accideutly teceived on the ISth of November.
