The flour market is unchiDged, and the business done is only for preseut requirements. We quote superfine silk-dressed at J»l3 10a ; household ditto, £12 10s per ton ; bran, £0 llh; j>h trps, £0 10j,

The activity which has been noticeable in the timber trade continues, and the demand is «till far in advance of the tbiiity to execute.

In fruits, the s.s. iieio, and Waiwesa (fiotn Aitutaki) both brought welcome supplies of Island products, the former .m» : fioia Fiji, bringing 2552 bunches bananas, 573 case* pineapples, and GG packages cocoanut*.
