o lIKAVY FINES. Iby telegraph. — PKrss ASSOfIrIATION'.] Wellington', Wednesday. Tub illicit distillation cises were concluded in the Resident Magistrate's Court this evening. William Thompson and Thomas Morgan, who were arrested in town with forty gallons of whisky in their possession, were each fined JCIOS, or in default,' three months' imprisonment. George Taylor, upon whose premises a still was discovered, was mulcted in a line of £200. or six months' imprisonment. The charge against Thomas Taylor, a partner, was withdrawn.
