GENERAL CONDITIONS. The Hailway Department does not pledge itself to the dispatch or arrival of the Trains at the exact times notified in the above Tables, and, in the event of any circumstances arising, either during or prior to the journey being wade, which may render it impossible or inexpedient for a Train to proceed, will return the Pares paid, but docs not undertake to forward the Passengers. Luuuaoe. — Each Passenger is allowed to take 112H»s. of PERSONAL free (not including merchandise of any kind), and for every 50'lbs., or fraction of frfilhs., above this weight, for every 5J miltfs or fraction of 50 miles, the charge will be One Shilling. No Luggage will be allowed to bo taken into the carriages, unless of such a size that it can bo placed under the seat without inconvenience to other Passengers. Passengers are strongly recommended to have their Names and the Station to which they are proceeding distinctly marked on their Lnirgage, and to satisfy themselves that it is placed on the 1 rain, as the Railway Department will not be responsible unless it is booked and paid for. Passengers can be Booked at Stations only on condition that there is room in the Train. Children under three years of age travel free ; above three and under twelve years of age, half-fare. Housks, Carriages Arc.—Tlie Railway Department does not undertake to forward Horses and Carriages by any particular Train ; but, when sent, they must bo at the forwarding Station half-an-hour before the departure of the Tram. The Owners of Horses must provide means for seenriuc them in the Horse-box, and the Railway Hepartiuent will not be accountable for any injuries sustained through their breaking loose or otherwise, nor will it undertake to carry unbroken or vicious Horses. At Country Stations requisitions for Horse-boxes or Carriage-trucks must be made the day before they are wanted. Dogs must be provided with chains, or other sutlicient means of securing them. They will not be allowed in carriages, and the sender must obtain a Ticket, to be given up at the end of the journey, and before the Dog is delivered. Ueturn Tickets, for distances uot exceeding 25 miles are available on day of issue only; for each additional 25 miles, or fraction thereof, one day extra is allowed. Return or Periodical Tickets will not be available for Special and Excursion Trains, except when the ordinary Time Table is suspended. Ordinary Single Tickets issued on Saturdays and Sundays are available as Return Tickets until the last ordinary Train on the following Monday. * Fug Stations.—'Trains do not stop at these unless required. Notice should be given to the Guard at the previous stopping Station. Spei'lal Notice.—To ensure despatch, Parcels, Extra Luggage, and Dogs must be at the Station at least Thirty Miuutes before the Advertised Time of Departure of Train. All Time Tables issued prior to this date arc now cancelled. J. T.
