A large attendance of members of the Auckland Bowling and Lawn Tennis Club and visitors were present at the green on Saturday. Several games of bowls were played, the result of the principal ones being as follows : —Messrs. Hesketli, Pago, Gorrie, and Macffarlane (skip), 14; Messrs. Reynolds, Winks, Browning, and Ross (skip), 21; Messrs. Bruce, Heath, Whitmore, and McKenzie (skip), 21 ; Messrs. Patterson, Humphries, Rosb (jun.), and Bell (skip), 13. During the afternoon, one of the series of matches for the club's four prize cups was played oft", resulting in a victory for Mr. J. Miller's team by £1 to nothing. The following were the players :—Messrs. J. Miller {skip), Cattanach, Kempt, and Smith, against Messrs. Oliphant (skip), Fraser, Dr. Walker, and K. Wright,
