PRESENTATIONS.

• At the regular monthly meeting of the KoJnuy JLod S e, No. 1711, K.C., held on Thursday, the ilGth Uet., a handsome P.M.'s jewel was presented to Bro. Charles Thomson, I. P.M., and bearing the following inscription : — "Presented to Brc. Charks Thomson, I. P.M., by the officers and brethren of Lodge Koduey, .So. 1711, E.C. The presentation wis made by Bro. M. W. The members of the Poneonby Choral Society hav« presented Miss Koy, their pianist for the past year, with a handsome gold Hatch, chain, and ring, as a slight token of their appreciation of her services, rendered voluntarily during that period. Mr. Hull begged His Worship to return his sincere thanks to the Victorian Humane Society for the certificate they had forwarded to him.

An address, together with a handsome silver butter cooler, was presented to Miss Allan, the assistant teacher of the Cambridge West School, on the occasion of her leaving. The address was sigued by the chairman of the local committee, the head teacher, and the three senior pupils on behalf or the whole school. A pleasing incident took place at the Telegraph Office on Nov. 25, namely, the presentation of a silver watch to Master \V. C. Strong, for eight years a distributor in the Auckland Telegraph Department, by the officers of the department, as a token of respect. He is leaving the service in order to enter a merchant's warehouse, and it must be gratifying to find that during his service in tile Telegraph Department he has so fulfilled his duties as to secure the approbation ami good-will of his superior officers.
