WORLD V. NEW ZEALAND.
A match was played on Thursday on the Domain ground between twelve representing New Zealand and a like number for the World. Bindon having won the toss, elected to bat, and his team was not disposed of till they had put together the large total of 2"7. The New Zealandera are to be complimented on the plucky way they (with very few exceptions) fielded through this long innings. When they at last got to the wickets it was past four o'clock, the innings terminating for 122. Webster for New Zealand played a fine innings for 20, and P.
