I, Thomas Diamond, do hereby certify that I prospected at Matamata Harakeke, for four months, and the places I prospected I got gold in almost every dish, and following this up I came upon a gold-btar-in? leader which is well worthy of prospecting, having seen colour in several of tho stones taken from the leader. I drove sixty or seventy feet lower down the spur and got gold in a leader in the same drivo ; not being satisfied, went lower down, and drove 200 feet, cutting several leaders, which I consider well worthy driving, and backs can bo obtained of 1 foot in every 2 feet 0 inches or thereabouts. Thomas Diajioxd. We hereby certify that the stone marked Xo. 1 was obtained from the leader on the surface herein mentioned at distances of 100 yards apart. Tuomas Diamond.
