Another very aeriou3 accident lias occurred near Melbourne, by which between twenty and tLirty persons have been injured, several very badly, one killed, aad it is expected that in several other cases the injuries will terminate, fatally. A special train, which had teen rua to a land sale at V;iuxtull, came into collision with a trainTrom Melbourne, at the rata of twenty miles an hour. Considering the circumstances, the wonder is, , perhaps, that the consequences were not more serious than even as stated. Apparently the accident has been occasioned by neglect to keep the line clear tor the special rain. The consequence of the Bsgligence have been fatal, and will prove , a seriou3 pecuniary loss to the Government, which will have to pay a series oi claims for compensation.
