SOUTH AUSTRALIAN FARMERS FOR NEW ZEALAND.

TO Tin: EDITOR. Sin, —In regard to your leading article of the 28th instant, re immigration of South Australian farmers to New Zealand, I beg to give the following particulars : Some eight or nine months ago, I received numerous letters from farmers from all parts of the Australian colonies, inquiring about the terms of land sales, &e., and asking me to furnish them with particulars regarding land sales, as they would come and sottle down in New Zealand. I went to the Crown L;tn<!a Office, where 1 was furnished with a copy of the Crown Lands Guide, as well as every particular. After that I translated the principal parts of the Crown Lands Guide, and sent this translation to the editor of the Australische Zeitung, a German newspaper published in Adelaide, and for which paper I am agent and correspondent. I also sent a copy of the Crown Lands Guide to the editor, asking him to place it at the disposal of any intending emigrants. Since, that, I received notice from Adelaide that already some farmers had left for New Zealand, and still more are expected to follow, -lam, &c,, Max Sober.
