The schooner Three Cheers, from Fiji, is reported as having arrived at Waipu on Monday last. The s.s. Argyle was taken out of dock yesterday morning, after having received a thorough cleaning and painting. The barque Alcestis was in collision with the s.s. Decioia in the River Yarra, Melbourne, on the 12th instant. Uoth vessels were iu charge of a pilot, and no damage was done of any moment to either vessel. Tbo Pilot Hoard considered neither pilots were to blame, it being proved that the Alcestis did not answer her helm when put " hard a-port." The ship Stirlingshire, from Glasgow to Townsville, Queensland, grounded ou the reef off Magnetic Island on 7th instant. .She was towed off on the oth. ARRIVAL OF THE WAIRARAPA.

Experienced fjesh H. W. winds until nuking New Zealand coist, thence moderate wind* and pleasant weather. The Wairarapa will leave for Melbourne via Southern porta at noon to-morrow.
