STATE OF AFFAIRS IN IRELAND.
THE PURSUIT OF THE ASSASSINS. [I?KR S.S. TE AN ATS, AT THE BLUTT,] London, May 10. The reward of £10,000 is oifered by the Government for information leading to the capture and conviction of the murderers of Lord Frederick Cavendish and Mr. T. H. Burke has been increased to £12,500. No reliable clue has yet been obtained as to the identity of the murderers. The police have as yet failed to arrest the assassins of Lord Frederick Cavendish, but from information which lias come to their hands they entertain a strong belief that the murderers are still concealed in Dublin. Riots have occurred at Curragh, County Kildare, between the English and the Irish residents. The disturbances were of a serious nature, and were with difficulty j quelled. The authorities at Dublin have published the official description of the assassins of Lord Frederick Cavendish and Mr. T. H. Burke. A reward of £5000 has also been offered for any information that may lead to the apprehension of any persons harbouring the assassins.
