THE TIMARU DISASTER.
ANOTHER DEATH. [BY TELEOIIAPH. PKES3 ASSOCIATION - .] Timaru, Saturday. S. Blacklock, chief officer of the City of Perth, who had his leg amputated on Monday, died in the hospital yesterday. His fuueral took place to-day, the Masons, the Artillery Rocket Brigade, and a large number of private citizens attending. No more bodies have been found, and it is believed six are still missing. Subscriptions for the fund in aid of the distressed are coining in most liberally from all parts of the colony. The ship City of Perth is being rapidly lightened, a number of boats being at work, to-day. The grain, so far, is undamaged. Her captaiu (McDonald) will be able to inspect her to-morrow, and will decide what further can be done to save her.
