Yesterday's proceedings at the Kingite meeting were of a more business-like character than hitherto, and towards the close of the proceedings a vote was actually taken, on the motion of Paul of Orakei, on the propositions of Tawhiap against selling, leasing, &c. Tawhiao is making anxious efforts to get all his people to act together under him, aud to keep the pledges they made to his father Potatau.
