The barquentine. Red Coat, of Sydney, arrived from Fiji yesterday. The master reports : Left Fiji January 25, with light southerly winds and fine weather up to February 3, then strong south-east winds which lasted to the sth ; ou the 4th sighted Cape Brett; on the sth, off the Little Barrier, and on the 6th arrived in port, in ballast.

The German barque A. T. Stallknecht, 540 ions register, sailed on December S from New York for Dunedin and Auckland. The American barque Schamyl, 428 tons register, cleared at New York on December 14 for Auckland, with 10,000 cases kerosene oil, 400 barrels rosin, C packages store trucks, 509 packages chairs and furniture, GO cases varubh, 1 box glue.

Amongst the passengers by the P. and O. s.f, Bangalore, which sailed from Venice on De cember 30th, was Mr. Stubbs, of Auckland.

City of Sydney arrived from San Pranciaco via Honolulu at 6.45 p.m. yesterday. Up to the time the Friandly Islands were reached tho trip premised, to be a very rapid one.
