Presto was bred by H.Phillips, Esq., Warmambool, Victoria, in 1871. He is a dark brown horse, of great substance, and good shape, has an excellent temper, and good constitution, and is naturally sound; standing 16 hands lin. high, and a sure foal getter. Presto is well adapted as a sire of fiat-racera, or cross-country horses, having great power and undeniable breeding, and as all Panic's stock arc noted as good jumpers, Presto himself is closely related to many of the best horses in Australia. It is well-known that Presto's sire—Panic—is the sire of a greater number of winners than any other horse in tho Colonies, which the " Australasian" of 1875 and 1876, containing the records of winning sires will clearly show. For Pedigree see card and Stud Book. Terms: £5; two or more marcs, the property of one owner, by agreement. Groomage fee, ss. First class grass, 2s 6d per week. AU fees due on January Ist, 1882.
