PROCEDURE ON ELECTION PETITIONS.
[BT TELEGRAPH. —SPECIAL .CORRESPONDENT.] Wellihgton, Tuesday. : I.N* reference to the rulfes for procedure,-&c., relative to election petitions, : which, as mentioned yesterday, the Supreme Court judge*, or the Chief Justice and two other judges, are required by section 14 of the Elections Petitions Act, 1880, to draw up; I understand that it is now held by the authorities that it will not be necessary that the judges should meet personally in Wellington, so long as they can agree on the code of rules drawn up by one or two of their number, and submitted to the rest of the bench.
