The Ohakeho suburban lots were put up at £8, and averaged £16. One section brought £29. WELLINGTON, Thursday. At the Supreme Court, John A. Gordon, for forgery, was sentenced to four years ; E. Symons, forgery, to two years; Gordon Phillips, to one year's imprisonment on a charge of false pretences. This concluded the criminal calendar. DUNEDIN, Thursday. The Chamber of Commerce, Harbour Board, and City Council co-operate to urge the Government to proceed with the erection o£ a permanent railway-station for the city. Mr. Simpson has resigned the Resident Magistrateship to accept the management of a Trustee and Executors' Agency Company. ' ; I : L
