Co.'s steamer Hero, bound to the westward. On October 10th, at 9.25 a.m., Three Kings abeam ; at 1 p.m. North C.ipe abeam; at 7.30 p.m. Cape ]>rett abaa'n. Arrived at Auckland on October 11th at 3.55 a.m. Experienced strong south to south-west winds throughout the passage. The City of New York left for Honolulu and San Francisco at 4.45 yesterday afternoon.
