SCHEDULES OF THE REPRESENTATION BILL

The Bay of Islands district is bounded towards the west,; north, and east by the ocean, towards the south by the county of Wbangarei and Hobson.;'

Marsden is bounded towards the north by the Bay of Islands electoral district, towards the east by the sea to the mouth of the Pakiri River, towards the south by the road districts of Omaha,' Matakana west, Upper Mahurangi, Tauhda, Albertland, Pukekaroro, Wairau, Maretu, and Waikeke, and county of Hobson to the Wairoa Riyer, thence by the said river to the road district of Kopuru at Aratapu Creek, thence by that road district -to the sea, and towards the south-west by the sea, together with the adjacent islands. .

Rodney is bounded towards the north by Marsden electoral district, towards the east by the sea to Waiwera River, towards the south by the highway district of Wainui, towards the west and the south by the highway district of Kaukapakapa to the Kaipara harbour, and by the southern shore of Knipara estuary, and towards the west by the ocean, together with the Great and Little Barrier islands, Kawau, Kaiti, Motuhora, Owaki, and other adjacent islands. ■

Waitemata is bounded towards the north by the Rodney electoral district; towards the east by the sea and Waitemata harbour and Whau portage, thence by , the said portage to Manukau harbour; towards the south by the southern shore of the said harbour, and towards the west by the sea, together with the islands in Waitemata harbour adjacent.

Auckland North is bounded towards the north-west by Waitemata harbour, from the middle of Union-street to the middle of Queen-street Wharf, thence towards the east by a line along the middle of the wharf, and along the middle of Queen-street to the middle of Cook-street, thence towards the south by a line along the infddle of Cook and Uraion-strects to the harbour.

Auckland "West is bounded towards the north by Freeman's Bay from the middle of Franklyn Road to the middle of Unionstroet, thence by Auckland South electoral district to the middle of Queen-street, thence towards the east by a line along the middle of that street to the middle of Karangahape Road, thence towards the south by a line along the middle of that road and Ponsonby Road to the middle" of Franklyn-strcet, and thence towards the west by a line along the middle of that street to Freeman's Bay.

Auckland East is bounded towards the north by Auckland harbour, towards the west by the centre of Queen-street, towards the south by the centre of Karangahape-road to Symonds-street, towards the south-east by that street to section No. 34, thence bisections Nos. S and 41 to Grafton-road, thence by the said road and Stanley-street to section 11, thence by a line to and by allotment No. 96 to and across the Strand, and thence by a right lino 1500 links along the city bounday to the harbour. Newton is bounded towards the north by the Waitemata harbour, towards the east by Aiickland West electoral district, Eden electoral district and Mount Roskill highway district, towards the south-west by the Manuban harbour to the Whau portage, again towards the west by that portage and the Whau River to Waitemata harbour.

Parnull is bounded towards the north by the Waitemata harbour, towards the southeast by Rcinuera highway district, towards the south by Epsom highway district, towards the south-west by Mount Eden, Eden Terrace, and Karangahape highway districts, and towards the north-west by Auckland East electoral district.

Eden is bounded towards the north by Auckland West electoral district, Auckland East electoral district, and Paruell electoral district; thence towards the east by Epsom highway district and Mount Roskill highway, towards the south by Mount Roskill .and Whau highway districts, and towards the north-west by Point Chevalier, Archill, and Is'ewton highway districts. Manukau is bounded towards the north by the Waitemata harbour, towards the east by Tamaki River to Tamaki portage, towards the south by that portage to the Great South-road, and by that road to Manukau harbour, aud thence by that harbour towards the west by Newton electoral district, again towards the north and west by Eden and Parnell electoral districts to the harbour.

Franklin North is bounded towards the north by the Tamaki River and Tamaki Straits to north-western boundary of Waitawa Block towards the cast by that block, Pekarakara Block, and the Kiripaka Block to the confiscation boundary, towards the south-east by that boundary to the road line which forms the south-eastern boundary of sections No 3. 20 and 24, parish of Otau to the Waimaku river, thence by that river to the Wairoa river, thence by that river aud by the Mangawhare stream to the southern boundary of section No. 212, parish of Hun.ua, thence towards the south by linee forming the southern boundaries of sections No. 212 and 211 of the said parish and by sections Nos. 192, 199, 156, 225, 227, aud 148, and a line being a production of the northern boundary of the last-mentioned section to the north-east angle of section No. 169, thence by that section and by section No. 224, all of the parish of Opahekc, arid by a right line being a production of the northern boundary of the last mentioned section to the Great South-road ; towards the west by that road, and Slippery (or Symonds') Creek to Hinaia Estuary, thence by that estuary aud Pahurehure Estuary to Manukau Harbour, aud by that harbour again towards the north by said harbour, and Manukau electoral district to the Tamaki River, including the islands of Rakino, Motuihi, Bream Rock, Ponui, Motutapu, Waiheki, and other adjacent islands.

Franklin South is bounded towards the north by Manukau Harbour, Pahurehure and Hingaia Estuaries to Slippery (or Symonds' Creek), and thence by Franklin North electoral district, towards the east by the Frith of Thames, towards the south by main road from Pukorokoro to Mercer as far as Maramarua River, thence by that river to the Waikato River, and thence by the right bank of that river to the sea, and towards the west by the sea.

Coromandel is bounded towards the north and east by the sea to a point duo east of the confluence of the Hape Crook and Kauwacranga River, towards the south by the Ohinemri riding to Parawai highway district, towards the west by that district and the borough of Thames to the sea ; thence by the Frith of Thames and Hauraki Gulf, and including adjacent islands.

Thames commences at a point bearing from the Trig station 282 degrees 36 minutes 31 seconds, distant 11,651J links; thence due east to ftocky Point SO chains ; thence bearing 126 degrees 52 minutes, distant 4250 links to Trig station; thence by a right lino to Trig station, No. 5, Kuranui Hill; thence by a right line to Trig station, No. 1, Waiotahi Spur; thence by a right line to the middle of Karaka road, opposite the middle of Sandes-street; thence along the middle of Karaka l'oad to the middle of Rollestonstreet; thence along the middle of Kollea-ton-street to the'middle of Hape Creek; thence along the middle of that creek to

Kauwaeranga.higb.way.district,"and.by ihafr district and Hastings Biding, and towards the south-west by that stream.to its confluence with the Hape Creek, thence due west 80 chains, thence by a right line to the point of commencement, a distance of 286 chains or thereabouts. ' ' ■ ■ •

Waikato is bounded towards the north by Franklin South electoral district and Frith of Thames, towards the east by the Thames river to' a' point due west of the Te Aroha mountain, thence by a line to Te Aroha, and thence by Tauranga County and East Taupo County to the Waikato river, and thence towards the west by that river to Franklin South electoral district.

; Waipa is bounded towards the north by the Franklin South electoral district, towards the east by Waikato electoral district and East Taupo county to Upper Waikato River, and by that river to the 39th parallel ;of south latitude, towards the south by that parallel of latitude to the Wanganui River, thence towards the west by a right line to the source of the Mokau River, again towards the south by that river to the sea, and again towards the west by the sea to the Waikato" River. : Tauranga is bounded towards the north by Coromandel electoral district, towards the east by the sea to Cape Runaway, thence towards the east and south by Cook and Wairoa counties to the Rangitiki River, where the main road from Taupo and Napier crosses it, thence by Hawke's Bay County to the 39th parallel of south latitude, again towards the south by that parallel to Waikato river, and thence towards thowest by Waipa and Waikato electoral districts, including th« adjacent islands.

East Coast is bounded towards the north and east by the sea from Cape Runaway to the most southerly point of Wairoa County, towards the south by the county of Hawke's Bay, and towards the west and north by Tauranga electoral district.
