THE ALBERT PARK AND ITS APPROACHES.
. TO THE EDITOR. . Sir,—l am afraid "Novice's" letter, in this morning's paper, through the heading being the " Streets of Auckland," will escape the notice of many of our citizens, and not receive the consideration its importance deserves. Ido not think there can be two opinions about the desirability of cutting down Coburg-street and making Victoria-street the principal entrance to the Park, from the very centre of the city. By carrying out "Novice's" suggestions, what is now a sort of rookery may become as fashionable as any other part of tho Park. I think, also, it could easily be carried out without materially interfering with any existing arrangements'. I would respectfully suggest its consideration by His Worship and our city representatives.—l am, &c:, 150, Queen-street, Aug 1. T. B. Hill.
