TAWHIAO IN WAIKATQ.
[bv-telxgraph.—oyrjc correspondent.] . .- Ngaruawaitu, Monday. The Maori King, with, his followers, are still here. Tawhiao has been walking about fraternising with the residents. This morning he breakfasted with Mr. Peter Kay. To-morrow the whole will proceed to Mercer, Tawhiao and part of his followers by canoe, the others, with Major Mair and Rewi, by train. Rangiriri will be visited en route. It is not unlikely they will stay the night there, but Mercer is said to be their destination.- '
