The s.s. Oreti is announced to sail for Gisborne and Napier to-morrow. ARRIVAL OF THE SHIP ASHMORE, FROM LONDON. Messrs. Shaw, Saville, and Co.'s ship Ashmore arrived from London yesterday, 93 days from port to port, or 87 days from land to land. The Ashmore is 1099 tons, and was built at Pert Glasgow by Mr. Henry Reid, _ for the Australian and New Zealand trade, in 1877. Sho was signalled as a barque, there being now no yards on the mUen mast, the sails therefor having been carried away three weeks ago, and no opportunity of repairing presented itself. She bring* 46 passengers, all in good health, and comfortable and cheery looking. None of the officers have visited this pert previously.
