The agitation about the filthy condition of dairies in the South Is making a stir in Auckland. In another column will bo found a notice from the proprietors of the Auckland Milk Supply Association to milk consumers, in which is stated the conditions upon which thoy supply milk, and the quality of milk they furnish their customers. Daring the warm days in summer tho milk will be cooled over the patent milk coolers, which will onablo it to ,be kept longer without souring. They offer to supply perfectly pure milk, neither adding water nor abstracting crcam from it. They adhere to cleanliness and civility, and those dairies from which they purchase milk are periodically inspected as to cleanliness, and the water from which tho cattle are supplied arid with which milk vessels are washed. * i
The monthly meeting of Ara Lodge is to be held this evening in the Masonic HotS, Princes* street, at half-past 7 o'clock, at which visiting brethren are invited to attend.
