"I" A M E.S "1%/ff A S 0 N In drawing attention of my customers to the Planting Season of 1881, I take the opportunity of thanking them for past favours so liberally accorded mo, assuring them and others -who 1 hope to have the pleasure of adding to my list of Patrons, that my sole aim is to upply PLANTS OR TREES THAT WILL GIVE EVERY SATISFACTION. My Nursery and tho class of Plants and Trees I send out are now so well known that I think it would be superfluous on my part to say much respecting them. Fruit Trees claim a large share of my attention, and although the past Summer has been a very dry one, my trees have not at all suffered, and I am confident of their giving every satisfaction. I personally superintend the execution of orders, and when my patrons prefer leaving the selection of Plants or Trees to myself, they may rely on every effort on my part to give every satisfaction. My collection of the above embraces almost every variety of Conifers, from the smallest Thuja to the gigantic tree of California, the Wellingtonia. It contains trees suitable for the park, pleasure-ground, or cottage garden, while for affording shelter, somo of the species are unsurpassed. Pinus Insignis, Cupressus Jlacrocarpa. ORNAMENTAL TREES AND SHRUBS. These are in such large variety that it is impossible to enumerate them here. Intending planters are therefore respectfully solicited to apply for General Catalogue, which contains nearly 300 varieties of ornamental and flowering, deciduous and evergreen trees and shrubs, fuU description of each kind being given, together with colour of flower, and ultimate height the tree or shrub may bo exoected to attain. The greatest care will be taken in selecting to send kinds most suitable for tho purpose aDd locality for which they arc intended ; this should be stated at the time of ordering, together with any information that will assist me in selecting.
