AUCKLAND UNITED CRICKET CLUB.
Tins club has had a most successful season, not suffering a single defeat. Fourteen matches were played—of which the United won 11, 3 being drawn. A team was sent to the Thames, and defeated the Thames eleven in one innings. During the season the United lost 118 wickets for 1767 runs, being an average of 15 runs per wicket.; while the clubs opposed to them lost 147 wickets. for 696 runs, or an average of considerably less than 5 runs per-wicket. In batting, C. E. MacCormick heads the list, with au average 0f.29'1, while Testro, Mumford, and Ivens are close up.
