It will be a source of disappointment to many to learn that the Loch Dee does not load here for Hoaie, but will proceed to Lyttelton to load with grain. The ageut and captain only learned yesterday that sho had been previously ohartered in Lindon. As far as nppearances indicate, the next ship for London will probably be the Peru. The ship Fernglen arrived at Graveaend on March 9 th, from this port. The Siim Mendel, from Melbourne, arrived at I Graveaend on March Sth. The Orient s.s. Ligima, which left London on March 4th for Australian porta, brings the following passengers for Auckland: Messrs. J. H... A. E., and Roland Nicholls, and Mr. and Mrs. Stevens and child. The tonnage loading on the berth it London ou March 10, for India, China, and the Cape of Good Hope, amounted to 37,894 tons, and for Australia and Now Zoalnnd to 44,613 tons. Messrs. The Coronilla, from London for this port, was spoken on February 27, in 31/ N 19 , W. The Zaalandia, ship, from Otago, whilst towing up tho River Tharae3 on March 1, ran ashore north side of Barking Reach, while trying to avoid collision. She was floated off the following morning, and docked ia the East India Dock. The Ocein Ranger, from Lyttelfcon, arrived at Cape Town on Blarch 4, leaky. The Chaudiere, from Hawko's Bay, arrived in London, feports having collided with a. steamer name unknown, off the Goodwin at 3 a.m., on [ March 6, when the former received damage to head gear. . The Famenoth, from Melbourne, arrived in London, reports :—Experienced very heavy ■weather on December 3, 4, and 5, in latitude 49-35 S, longitude 177"50 W. At 4 p.m., December 4, shipped a very heavy sea, which smashed both boats, &c, forward beams, water tanks, and other things about the decks. On March 1, the Algoa Eay, a beautifullymodelled sailing ship, registering 1100 tons, and classed 100 Al at Lloyd's, was launched at Greenock by Messrs. Russell and Co. Sho will form one of Messrs.
